Three new Xiaomi phones, dubbed Xiaomi 12 Ultra, 12S, and 12S Pro, have received approval from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CMIIT).
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra, 12S, and 12S Pro appeared on the CMIIT website with model numbers 2203121C, 2206123SC, and 2206122SC. The listing did not shed light on the specifications of the smartphones, however, it is rumored that all three devices will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC.
Qualcomm will unveil the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC on May 20, so we can expect these three Xiaomi smartphones to launch sometime in June. The company is yet to make any official announcement regarding the launch of the upcoming smartphones.

Xiaomi 12 Ultra Specifications (Rumored)
As per the rumors floating around, Xiaomi 12 Ultra will come with a 6.73″ 2K 120Hz E5 AMOLED display supporting LTPO 2.0 technology. The smartphone will have TSMC-made Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus under the hood and will be fueled by a 4900mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to carry massive improvements in terms of optics. It is reported that the smartphone will feature a 50MP Sony IMX989 primary sensor. The sensor is almost an inch in size. The primary sensor is accompanied by a 48MP telephoto lens with 120x zoom support.
Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro Specifications (Rumored)
It has been recently reported that the Xiaomi 12S will land with a curved edge display offering an FHD+ resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will have a centrally positioned punch-hole, and smaller size.
Xiaomi 12S will feature a triple camera unit on the rear consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera. The device is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus processor.
Talking about the Xiaomi 12S Pro, the device is expected to carry better display hardware, the device will house a 2K display. Previous reports have suggested that the Xiaomi 12S Pro will be launched in SoC variants, first with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor and the other with Dimensity 9000 SoC.
