A few days ago, Honor had launched its latest Play-series 5G mid-range smartphone in the Chinese market, dubbed as Honor Play 30.
Today, the Honor Play 30 5G smartphone finally goes on sale in China for the starting price of 1,099 yuan, which is about $164. It is offered in four colors — Titanium Silver, Morning Gold, Aurora Blue, and Magic Night Black.

The smartphone features a 6.5-inch LCD display that offers an HD+ screen resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 269ppi pixel density. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G chipset.
It comes packed with 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There’s also a microSD card slot that allows users to further expand the storage capacity.
In the camera department, the phone features a 13-megapixel camera sensor on the back and an LED flash, both of which are placed inside a square-shaped camera module in the top-left corner. On the front side, there’s a 5-megapixel snapper for taking selfies.
The device runs the Android 11 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own Magic UI 5.0 on top. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, but the device comes with support for only 10W charging.
The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model of the Honor Play 30 is priced at 1,099 yuan (~$164) while the 8GB RAM and 128GB model costs 1,399 yuan (~$209).
