The iconic Galaxy Note was in a league of its own in its heydays. It was among a very small class of smartphones equipped with a stylus. The new Stylus 5G also joins a small class of budget smartphones that support stylus technology. It is designed to compete with current models in the market from Motorola and others. It has a 6.81-inch LCD screen with 1080p resolution. This offers ample space to deploy the built-in stylus on the screen.TCL Stylus 5G

The TCL Stylus 5G will convert handwriting to text using a pre-installed app. The special calculator app can identify handwritten equations. The device supports 5G network connectivity with its MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip. It offers 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage via MicroSD. The phone runs on Android 12 out of the box and is optimized with more stylus features. A 4,000mAh battery will help sustain the TCL Stylus 5G for up to 24 hours.TCL Stylus 5G

Some other features available in the TCL Stylus 5G include an audio jack and fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor sits atop the power button. A 50MP main camera is the main highlight in the TCL Stylus 5G’s camera setup. On the support side, TCL is offering only one Android update for the new stylus-equipped mid-ranger. Two years of security updates will also be available for the TCL Stylus 5G. It remains to be seen how the TCL Stylus 5G squares up with other stylus-equipped models in the market.
