On June 6, Huawei launched a new Enjoy series smartphone dubbed, Huawei Enjoy 50. The smartphone came with a particularly large 6000mAh battery, 22.5W fast charging, and a 6.75-inch large screen. But for some reason, Huawei did not reveal any specific information regarding the processor of the phone. It is speculated that Huawei Enjoy 50 features the Kirin 710A Soc, However, a recent Weibo post by a tipster discredits these speculations.

A popular tipster who goes by the username @Factory Director Shiguang has shared a post on Weibo which reveals the AnTuTu running score of the Huawei Enjoy 50. The running score of the smartphone is 226225 points, which is higher than the regular Kirin 710A. This proves that the smartphone does not have Kirin 710A under the hood.

Huawei Enjoy 50 benchmark

According to the tipster’s description, the processor powering the Huawei Enjoy 50 is more like 710A+ and there have been some changes in its design, so the performance has also been improved. Considering that it is a low-end chip, the benchmarking score is not bad at all.

The use of a new chip indicates that Huawei may have found a breakthrough point for the underlying Chip shortage problem.

Huawei Enjoy 50 comes with a 6.75-inch 1600×720 LCD water drop display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 260ppi pixel density. It supports ten-point super touch technology and features a front 8MP lens. The smartphone has a 13MP+2MP dual real camera. It has a built-in 6000mAh battery and supports a 22.5 W fast charge.
