Two upcoming Motorola phones have been approved by the CMIIT authority of China. The model numbers of the two devices are XT2251-1 and XT2243-2. The former appears to be the Motorola Frontier flagship, which is expected to launch soon in China.

The Chinese tipster who spotted the CMIIT listing claims that the XT2251-1 could be the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship, which may be released in July. The XT2243-2 appears to be an Edge series. Unfortunately, the CMIIT listings have no information on the specs of these smartphones.

Recent reports have revealed that Motorola’s Frontier flagship will debut as the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 powered device. While it is expected to launch in global markets as the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, there is no word on its moniker for China.
