Earlier this month, Asus announced that the Asus Rog Phone 6 gaming smartphone will make its global debut on July 5th. The device has already appeared on the TENAA listing revealing some of the key specifications of the ROG Phone 6.

Now, the device has made an appearance on the popular benchmarking database, Geekbench, confirming its chipset, RAM, and OS while also giving us an idea of its performance. So, let’s take a look.

According to the database, the ROG Phone 6 comes with an octa-core processor that has a max clock speed of 3.19GHz. The SoC also brings along the Adreno 730 GPU confirming that this is Indeed the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Other than that, the listing confirms that the device has 16GB of RAM and runs on an Android 12-based operating system.

Coming to the benchmarks result, the smartphone scores 1323 in the single-core test and an impressive 4238 points in the multi-core test of Geekbench 5. The listing does not reveal anything else, but the earlier leaks give us an idea of what to expect from the gaming smartphone.

ROG Phone 6 specifications (rumored)

Starting off, the divide is expected to bring a 678-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will be paired with up to 18GB of RAM.

Other than that, the smartphone will bring a large 6,000mAh battery which will support 65W fast charging. For optics, the device is said to feature a 64-megapixel primary camera.  Other than that, we can expect the device to bring dual stereo speakers, a VC cooling chamber, and more.
