Xiaomi is set to launch the new Redmi K50i 5G smartphone in India. But prior to its official release, the company’s latest K series handset had its pricing and availability for the region leaked.

According to a MySmartPrice report, the news arrives from a known tipster who claimed that the K50i 5G will launch in two storage configurations. Furthermore, the tipster also added that the smartphone will come in three color options and will take on the likes of the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G and the iQOO Neo 6. For those unaware, the Redmi K50i 5G is set to launch in India on July 20. But now, we have the storage options and Indian pricing for the device.

As per the report, the handset will launch with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM paired with up to 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The source claims that the base 6GB + 128GB variant will be priced between 24,000 INR and 28,000 INR (roughly 303 to 353 US Dollars). On the other hand, the 8GB + 256GB model will reportedly cost around 29,000 to 33,000 INR (roughly 367 to 417 US Dollars). The report also shared some availability details, like the Chinese tech giant partnering up with HDFC for instant discount offers for its customers.

The smartphone will be available for purchase via Amazon India, Mi Stores, and partnered retail stores. Talking about the device itself, Redmi K50i 5G is a rebadged POCO X4 GT or the Note 11T Pro 5G. It sports a 6.6 inch 144Hz IPS LCD panel on the front and houses a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. The device is powered by a large 5,080mAh battery pack that supports 67W fast charging and features a 64 megapixel triple camera setup on the back.
