Xiaomi had recently teased the launch of its upcoming 12 Lite smartphone for the global market. But prior to any official announcement, a tipster has leaked the launch date for the device and another product that will release alongside the new handset.

The news arrives from Paras Guglani, who shared the information on Twitter. As per the tweet, the Xiaomi 12 Lite and Mi Band 7 will be launching on 13th July 2022. In other words, the new smartphone within the flagship 12 series and the latest smart band from the Chinese tech giant will be announced next week for the global market. The tweet also shared an image, which offers us the exact timing of the launch event as well.

While we did know that the upcoming device was set to be announced soon, the tipster claims that the new smart band will also be releasing on the same date. For those unaware, the Mi Band 7 was first launched in China for a price of 279 Yuan (roughly 42 US Dollars). Talking about the smartphone, the smartphone sports a 6.55 inch OLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is equipped with a Snapdragon 778G SoC and is powered by a 4,300mAh battery pack that supports 67W fast charging.

The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 12 OS based MIUI 13 and features a 108 megapixel triple camera setup on the rear while the front houses a 32 megapixel selfie shooter. On the other hand, the Mi Band 7 sports a 1.62 inch AMOLED panel and houses a 235mAh battery pack. Other features include NFC, built in GPS, over 100 sports modes, various watch faces, and 5ATM water resistance.
