While the Oppo Reno 8 series was first announced in China back in May 2022, the smartphone is just now making its way to the Indian market. But prior to its release, the hands on images of the Indian variant of the Reno 8 5G has been leaked, which showcases the design of the device in all its glory.
The hands on images were shared by known tipster Mukul Sharma, who posted the images on Twitter. Looking at the tweet, we can see multiple images of the upcoming Reno 8 5G model from the front, back, and even the side. This reveals the complete design of the handset, with the front featuring a punch hole selfie camera on the top left corner while the rear houses a triple camera setup on a large island module.
The Reno 8 5G model seen in the hands on images is the black color variant. Talking about the smartphone itself, the base model of the series is confirmed to be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC that will arrive with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. As per a previous leak, the device will be offered in India in two color options, namely Shimmer Gold and Shimmer Black.
The handset sports a 6.43 inch AMOLED display that features FHD+ resolution. Meanwhile, the rear features a triple camera setup that consists of a 50 megapixel primary sensor, 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 megapixel macro shooter. The device will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery pack that supports 80W fast charging.
