Sony launched the PlayStation 5 back in November 2022, however, the availability of the console has remained an issue since then due to the global chip shortage. Adding to the stock issues, scalpers have been buying out the available stock in the market and selling them at eye-watering markups.

However, Indian customers looking to get their hands on the console at MSRP will soon be getting a chance to do so. According to reports, the July restock of the PlayStation 5 is scheduled for July 23rd at 12 PM IST. This means that customers will be able to pre-order the PS5 Digital Edition for Rs. 39,999. However, It seems that the Blu-ray edition will not be available in the next restock.

PS5 Digital Edition will be available to pre-order via online retailers like ShopAtSCFlipkartAmazonCromaVijay SalesReliance Digital, and Games The Shop. Since the stock will likely be limited, we advise our users to set reminders and log onto these websites a few minutes before the pre-order window opens.

Since the last restock, the PlayStation 5 availability has improved in India. So, there’s a chance that customers can get their hands on the console from local retailers.
