We have already covered a number of reports regarding Apple launching its first ever mixed reality headset. And now, the latest information regarding this product has revealed that the new AR/VR headset might be launching at the start of next year, but it may tear a hole through your wallet.

The news arrives from known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. In a new tweet, Kuo claimed that the Cupertino based giant is planning on releasing its “next revolutionary consumer electronics product after the iPhone” next year. For those unaware, the mixed reality headset will apparently offer both Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality functionality. But unfortunately, it will also be quite expensive as well. It will reportedly launch with a hefty price tag between 2,000 to 2,500 US Dollars.

Furthermore, the analyst added that the mixed reality headset could launch sometime as early as January 2023. The announcement of this headset will also focus on three aspects as per Kuo. This includes its applications, the software/service/development ecosystem, and end with hardware specifications. Interestingly, the mixed reality device isn’t the only headset that the brand is working on, as he claims that Apple will also launch an AR exclusive headset as well.

Apart from this, the company will apparently also launch affordable version of its headset products sometime by early 2025. Unfortunately, this is all the information shared by the analyst on Twitter. Even if this report is true, the announcement for the product is still months away. Although, we can expect additional leaks to surface in the near future, so stick around for more updates.
