For the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite (SM-T225), Samsung is now deploying Android 12-based One UI 4.1 in Germany and Hong Kong. The firmware version T225XXU1BVGB marks the update. Additionally, the security patch from July 2022 is also included in the update. The update is expected to hit other regions soon.

The update brings a bunch of new features and improvements over the Android 11 operating system. These include changes to the user interface to facilitate better reachability and one-hand usability. Material You-based theming is also present in the update along with redesigned widgets for the home screen.

In addition, One UI 4.1 brings greater privacy features, a better Camera experience, more robust photo, and video editing capabilities, better sharing options, and a tonne of enhancements to Samsung apps like Calendar, Samsung Internet, Device Care, Samsung Keyboard, and more. Other than that, the update brings better accessibility features, an improved Dark Mode, simpler display brightness control, and improved game optimization services (GOS).
