Tomorrow (Aug. 10), Samsung will hold its Galaxy Unpacked event to unveil multiple products, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Watch 5 series, and Buds 2 Pro. Recently, Winfuture.de shared the specifications and renders of the Galaxy Watch 5 series. Now, the publication has put out a detailed report about the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s features.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 specifications (rumored)
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 has a 7.6-inch foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2x Infinity Flex display that will offer 2176 x 1812 pixels resolution, 21.6:18 aspect ratio, 374 ppi pixel density, and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. It will come with an improved Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG), which will make the panel more resistant. On the front, it has a 6.2-inch AMOLED Infinity-O display that offers 2316 x 904 pixels resolution, and a 23.1:9 aspect ratio. Both displays support a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will run on the Android 12 OS with One UI on top.
The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip-powered device will come with 12 GB of RAM. It will arrive with 256 GB / 512 GB / 1 TB of storage. It will pack a 4,400mAh battery with 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
The Z Fold 4 will have a 4-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture embedded under the foldable screen. On the front, it will have a 10-megapixel camera. The back panel of the device will have an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and dual-pixel autofocus, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS.
The other features of the Z Fold 4 include a side-facing fingerprint scanner, support for S Pen (no dedicated slot), eSIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB-C, AKG tuned dual speakers, and an IPX8 certified chassis. The device will measure 155.1 x 130.1 x 6.3mm when opened and 155.1 x 67.1 x 15.8mm when folded. It will weigh around 254 grams.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 price (rumored)
The 256GB and 512GB Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be priced at 1,799 euros and 1,899 euros. Its pre-orders will start on Aug. 10 and will go on sale on Aug. 25.
