A couple of months after the Brazilian launch, Motorola has now debuted the Moto G62 5G smartphone in India. It is a budget-midrange 5G device with the Snapdragon 695 chipset at its helm. So, let’s take a look at its specs in detail.

The 6.5-inch IPS display on the Moto G62 5G delivers Full HD+ quality and a 120Hz refresh rate. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera is located inside the punch-hole cutout.

Under the hood, the device houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The device has a 5000mAh battery which is paired with 20W TurboPower fast charging. The device has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and is IP52 certified. As for the operating system, it has Android 12-based MyUI which is known for its near-stock Android experience.

Coming to the cameras, the Moto G62 5G has a 50-megapixel primary sensor on the back, paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 118-degree FOV and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

Other than that, the smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and carries support for face unlock. It offers other features like a dual-SIM slot, 12 5G bands, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and a USB-C port.

Pricing & availability

The Moto G62 5G is available in two configurations – 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, which is priced at Rs 17,999 (~$227), and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage which has a price tag of 19,999 (~$252). It comes in two color options namely Midnight Grey and Frosted Blue and will be available for purchase through Flipkart starting August 19th.

Customers using an HDFC bank credit card can avail up to ₹1750 off on EMI transactions and up to ₹1500 off on non-EMI purchase of the smartphone.
