LeTV came under scrutiny recently when complaints on the quality of the Panda OEM TV were lodged. There was a wide range of issues raised relating to the Panda OEM lineup of TVs bordering on low quality in several aspects. However, the company expects the new F65 Pro with a 65-inch display and excellent features to sustain the spotlight on the brand.
The new super TV has a 4K HDR screen with 95% color gamut coverage. It has the MEMC motion compensation and M-Genuine image quality engine both combining to output great picture quality. The TV features the EUI 8.0 system and supports voice controls including wake-up within a radius of 5 meters. The F65 Pro smart TV has two HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, RF, and AV ports for various connectivity options. You can also connect the TV to set-top boxes and support both wired and wireless networks.
The LeTV F65 Pro is available in China via JD.com and the LeTV Mall. The TV will retail for 2,199 yuan (~$326). There are no details yet on the global availability of the new 65-inch smart TV. It remains to be seen how the complaints about the Panda OEM would impact the reception of the new TV in China.
