Apple is believed to launch its highly anticipated 2022 iPhone lineup sometime in September. The iPhone 14 series is set to include four models, which includes the two Pro models. A recent rumor had hinted at the higher end versions featuring higher base storage, but it seems that this might not be the case.

The news arrives from known analyst Jeff Pu (Via MacRumors). We have already covered a number of reports regarding the Cupertino based giant hiking the price tag for its latest iPhones over the previous generation. However, a recent rumor had hinted that the iPhone 14 Pro series models will launch with a higher base storage capacity of 256GB.

This would more or less justify its price tag and bring its pricing in line with higher end storage variants of the iPhone 13 Pro series. As per Jeff Pu, the Pro models will launch in multiple storage options but will start from 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Apart from reports of Apple starting the iPhone 14 Pro models from 256GB, there had also been rumors that the storage could top out at 2TB as well. Although, the analyst believes otherwise based on the latest information he shared.
