Realme is all set to unveil the Realme 9i 5G on Aug. 18 in India. Rumors surrounding the device has revealed that it may debut as Realme’s most affordable 5G phone in the country. Ahead of the launch, real-life images of the phone appeared to showcase its design.
The images only show the rear design of the Realme 9i 5G. As can be seen, the device will be available in black and gold. Both models have an attractive textured design on the back.
The rear shell features a protruding triple camera unit with an LED flash. The company’s branding can also be seen on the back. The leaked renders of the device, which surfaced recently, revealed that it has a waterdrop notch display and a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
Realme 9i 5G specifications (rumored)
The Realme 9i 5G will arrive with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display that produces an FHD+ resolution. It is also expected to support a 90Hz refresh rate. The Dimensity 810 chip will be present under the hood of the device. It is expected to arrive in two variants, such as 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage.
The Realme 9i 5G will come with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Its back panel will feature a 50-megapixel main camera and a pair of 2-megapixel snappers for depth and macro shots. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support. The phone will run on the Realme UI 3.0 based Android 12 OS.
