The Realme 9i 5G launch is just around the corner. However, prior to the official announcement on August 18, the company has shared a new teaser that confirms some of its key specifications.
For those unaware, the Chinese smartphone maker had recently confirmed that its upcoming smartphone will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. Now, the brand has revealed that the Realme 9i 5G will sport a waterdrop notch display that will have a 90Hz high refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The company also revealed that the new handset will be powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that is charged through a USB Type C port.
While Realme has yet to reveal finer details regarding the smartphone, we have earlier reports for some of its other specifications. As per a previous leak, the device will sport a 6.6 inch Full HD+ resolution LCD panel. The front will reportedly house an 8 megapixel selfie camera while the rear packs a 50 megapixel primary sensor that is paired with a 2 megapixel macro sensor, and a depth shooter as well.
The smartphone will boot on Android 12 OS based Realme UI 3.0. Its battery pack will support 18W fast charging. It will also arrive with two storage configurations, namely 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. As per the promotional images so far, the Realme 9i 5G will also launch in two color options.
