According to tipster Paras Guglani, Vivo will be launching a slew of Y-series phones, such as the Vivo Y02s, Y16, Y35, Y22, Y22s, and Y01A. The Y35 has already gone official in Indonesia, the other phones are yet to go official. Several leaks have revealed the design and specifications of some of these Y-series phones. In the latest leak, Pricebaba has shared real-life images of the Y22s.
The image shared by the publication not only shows the Vivo Y22s in real skin but also its retail box. It reveals the two color variants of the device. The rear side of the device features a dual-camera setup with an LED flash. The leaked renders of the phone that have appeared in the recent past show that it is equipped with a teardrop notch display.
Vivo Y22s specifications (rumored)
Reports have revealed that the Vivo Y22s will sport a 6.55-inch LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution. On the front, it will feature an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The back panel of the device will include a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel (macro / depth) sensor.
The Y22s will be powered by the Snapdragon 680 mobile platform. It will be equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. For additional storage, it will feature a microSD card slot. The phone will come preloaded with FunTouch OS 12-based Android 12 OS.
The device will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging through USB-C. It will offer the usual connectivity features, such as dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, 5GHz Wi-Fi, and a 3.5mm audio jack. At present, there is no information on the price of the device.
