Vivo has launched a new budget smartphone in China. The device in question is called the Vivo Y02s and it comes with some decent specs. It has features like a 5000mAh battery, MediaTek Helio P35 Processor, 6.51-inch display, and more. The device features a single camera on the back, however, its design suggests otherwise. Let’s look closely at the price, specifications, and features of the newly launched Vivo Y02s.

The Vivo Y02s features a 6.51-inch waterdrop notch display that offers an HD+ resolution of 1600×720 pixels and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It has a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button. The device has 163.95×75.55×8.19mm dimensions and weighs around 182 grams. Its body adopts a right-angle frame design, and the rear panel is made of a glass-like material, which is claimed to be scratch and fingerprint resistant.

While a triple rear camera setup has become the new industry norm, Vivo Y02s comes with only a single 8-megapixel camera on the back. However, the module has two bumps, one of which houses the LED flash. On the front, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel selfie snapper.

The handset draws power from a MediaTek Helio P35 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot in case you want more storage. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging over USB-C. Connectivity features on the device include a dual-SIM, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device runs on Android 12 OS with Funtouch OS on top.

The Vivo Y02s is priced at 906 Yuan (roughly $132/ Rs. 10,622) for the sole 3GB RAM 32GB storage variant. The device is offered in two color options- Sapphire Blue and Shine Black. The device is currently up for sale in Taiwan. We are not sure if it will debut in the international market.
