Earlier this month, Samsung quietly debuted the Galaxy A23 5G smartphone for the global market, however, the company did not reveal the pricing or availability of the device at the time. Now, the brand has finally revealed these details for Taiwan.
Samsung Galaxy A23 5G Price & availability
The Galaxy A23 5G has storage options of 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. Prices range from NTD 8990 (about $298) to NTD 9990 (about $331). The phone is available in the colors Black, Peach, and Blue. Purchases can be made starting on September 16.
Samsung Galaxy A23 5G specifications
The 6.6-inch display on the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G has an Infinity-V notch and an FHD resolution. It also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC, complemented by up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit. It runs on OneUI 4.1 based on Android 12 OS.
The Galaxy A23 5G has quad-rear cameras comprising of a 50MP F1.8 primary sensor with OIS capability, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. A front-facing 8MP selfie camera is also present.
Connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G include WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C port, 3.5mm jack, 5G, and 4G VoLTE.
