iQOO is all set to unveil the iQOO Z6 series of smartphones on Aug. 25 in China. Ahead of the launch, the company is busy confirming the key specifications of the device. Today, it confirmed that the Z6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 778G Plus mobile platform.

Apart from featuring the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset, the iQOO Z6 will include LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.   In addition, it will be equipped with a six-layered ice-cooled liquid cooling technology for heat dissipation. The company claims that the Z6 will offer the best-ever performance seen on a Z-series iQOO phone.

Apart from this, the company has already confirmed that the device will carry support for 80W fast charging. According to iQOO, the device has a dual-cell battery, and the fast charging technology will allow it to go from 0 to 50 percent in just 10 minutes.

The iQOO Z6 was recently seen in the database of China Telecom. The listing revealed its design, full specifications, variants, and price.

According to the China Telecom listing, the iQOO Z6 will measure 164.17 x 75.8 x 8.59mm and weighs around 194.6 grams. On the front, the device will be fitted with a 6.64-inch LCD screen with a punch-hole design. The screen will offer a Full HD+ resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels. Reports have claimed that it will support a 120Hz refresh rate. The SD778G+ powered device will come with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage. The device is equipped with a side-facing fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm audio jack.

iQOO Z6 price (rumored)

The listing mentions that the iQOO Z6 will be arriving in three options: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage for 1,899 Yuan (~$278), 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage for 2,099 Yuan (~$308), and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage for 2,299 Yuan (~$336). It will come in Jade Black, Star Sea (blue), and Golden Orange.
