Samsung has two upcoming lower-midrange 5G smartphones planned for the global market. These are the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G and the Galaxy A13 5G. The Galaxy A23 5G’s specs, pricing, and launch date have already been confirmed for Taiwan. And now, the brand has also revealed the same details for the Galaxy A13 5G.
Samsung Galaxy A13 5G price & availability
Samsung has revealed that the Galaxy A13 5G is set to launch on September 1 in Taiwan. The device will have a starting price of NTD 6,990 (roughly $232) for the base 4GB + 64GB option. The 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at NTD 7,990 (roughly $645). It will launch in Black, Blue, and White colors.
Samsung Galaxy A13 5G specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G features a 6.5-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The phone has AI face unlock as well as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC that is paired with a Mali G57 GPU. The chipset is complemented by 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. A large 5,000mAh battery pack powers the device, which supports 15W fast charging.
For optics, the device has a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth lens. The front houses a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.
The smartphone measures 164.5 x 76.5 x 8.8 mm and supports Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, etc. The phone also features a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.
