Tomorrow, iQOO will take off the covers from the iQOO Z6 and Z6x smartphones in China. Before launch, the company has been revealing key specifications of the Z6 duo. Today, it revealed the main camera configuration of the Z6.

As can be seen in the poster, the iQOO Z6 will feature a triple camera unit on the back. The top camera ring houses the 64-megapixel main camera, which carries support for OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). The second camera ring houses two auxiliary cameras. A recent report said that the main camera will be joined by a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens.

Previous reports have revealed that the iQOO Z6 will have a 6.64-inch IPS LCD panel that will support a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display punch-hole will house an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The iQOO Z6 is confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset. It is speculated that the device will offer 8 GB / 12 GB of LPPDR5 RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of built-in UFS 3.1 storage. The device will run on the Android 12 OS with OriginOS Ocean UI on top.

The device will be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery, which will carry support for 80W fast charging. According to iQOO, it will take only 10 minutes for the Z6 to go from 0 to 50 percent. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Z6 is likely to carry a starting price of 1,899 Yuan (~$277).

The iQOO Z6x, which will accompany the iQOO Z6 will house a 6,000mAh battery. The company is yet to confirm the other details of the Z6x. Rumors are rife that the device will be a rebranded or tweaked version of the Vivo T2x, which was announced earlier this year in China.
