A tipster has provided new details of the upcoming Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II. Authoritative leaker Roland Quandt highlighted the updated design and key details of the yet-to-be-released product. The leaker provided the details via WinFuture and pointed to a refreshed version of the premium Bose earbuds.
The leaked official renders of the QuietComfort Earbuds II indicate the model will come in two colorways – black and white. The Earbuds II is more compact than its predecessor and has minor design changes for an improved aesthetic appeal. The earbuds could operate for up to six hours on a single charge. Active voice cancellation (ANC) serves as a potent drain on battery life, but there is no clarity on whether the stated battery life is based on ANC being operational. The QuietComfort Earbuds II predecessor offered six hours of battery life with ANC off. The extended time provided by the charging case has not been specified as of yet.
The QuietComfort Earbuds II will come with capacitive touch controls while the charging case has a USB-C port. The possible leak of the official renders of the QuietComfort Earbuds II could point to an imminent launch of the gadget. The tipster puts a price of $299 for the product, which is slightly higher than that of its predecessor. The coming days or weeks could clear the uncertainty when Bose makes an official statement on QuietComfort Earbuds II.
