Redmi is working on a new entry-level smartphone that it plans to unveil soon. The device is called the Redmi A1, and it has appeared on BIS, TKDN, and FCC certification databases hinting towards upcoming launches in india, Indonesia and other global markets.
Redmi India has now made a cryptic social media post that alludes to the Redmi A1’s impending release in the nation. “We are bringing some exciting #DiwaliWithMi launches,” the company’s official handles announced in a social media post. The Redmi A1 could soon be released in the Indian market, as indicated by the text’s inclusion of the word A1 and its highlighting.

Redmi A1 specs (expected)
According to a recent Geekbench listing, the Redmi A1 will come with a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 chipset. It will have 3GB of RAM and an Android 12-based operating system. Other than that, the FCC listing reveals that the device measures 164.67mm in length and 76.56mm in width. The device will support 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Other specifications of the device are still under wraps.
