Xiaomi has launched a new smart TV lineup in India called the Xiaomi Smart TV X Series. It was announced alongside Xiaomi NoteBook Pro 120G and Xiaomi NoteBook Pro 120. Let’s take a look at what the latest television from the company has to offer.

Xiaomi  Smart TV X Series Specifications

The Xiaomi Smart TV X Series arrives in three sizes: 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch. All three models sport an LED-backlit LCD panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K) and a 60Hz refresh rate.

The screen supports multiple HDR standards like HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision. It covers 94% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and offers MEMC as well as Xiaomi’s proprietary color tuning called ‘Vivid Picture Engine.’

The television is powered by an unnamed SoC comprising a quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 CPU and ARM Mali G52 MC1 GPU. The chipset is paired with 2GB RAM and 8GB storage.

On the software front, it boots Android TV 10 with the PatchWall content aggregation launcher. There’s support for all the leading streaming apps, Play Store, Google Assistant via remote control, and Chromecast Built-in.

Talking about connectivity, the TV comes with dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, 3 x HDMI 2.1 (supports ALLM, eARC), 2 x USB, Ethernet, AV, 3.5mm headphone jack, and optical port. 

Last but not least, the television features a metal frame with minimal bezels and houses 30W speakers with support for Dolby Audio, DTS: Virtual X, and DTS-HD.

 

Xiaomi Smart TV X Series Price and Availability

The Xiaomi Smart TV X Series will retail at the following price tags in India.

  • Xiaomi Smart TV X Series 43-inch – ₹28,999 ($364)
  • Xiaomi Smart TV X Series 50-inch – ₹34,999 ($439)
  • Xiaomi Smart TV X Series 55-inch – ₹39,999 ($502)

The lineup will be sold via Mi.com, Mi Home, Flipkart, and retail outlets.

The first sale for the 50-inch and the 55-inch variants is scheduled for 12 PM on September 14. The availability of the 43-inch version will be revealed later on social media.
