Huawei will be holding its next launch event in China on Sept. 6. The major attraction of the event will be the Mate 50 series of flagship phones. The same event is expected to see the arrival of a couple of other Huawei products. One of them appears to be a new edition of the Huawei P50 Pocket, and the other one seems to be an Enjoy-series phone.

Two new Huawei devices with model numbers BAL-AL80 and CHA-AL80 have appeared with images and key specifications in the database of China’s TENAA certification site. The images show that the BAL-AL80 is a clamshell device, whereas the CHA-AL80 could be an Enjoy-branded mid-range handset.

The BAL-AL80 could be a sequel or an updated version of the Huawei P50 Pocket. The device can be seen sporting a dual-tone design. There are two circles on the backside of the device. The first one looks like it has three cameras, and the second one has a second screen like the P50 Pocket.

The listing does not mention support for 5G networks on the device. It further reveals that the device is equipped with five cameras and a 4,260mAh battery.

The CHA-AL80 Huawei phone has a punch-hole display on the front, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and a triple camera unit on the back. It packs a 3,900mAh and lacks support for 5G connectivity. Both devices run on HarmonyOS. Unfortunately, there is no information available on the final monikers of both devices.

The upcoming Mate 50 series is expected to include four models, such as the Snapdragon 778G powered Mate 50e; and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4G powered Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro, and Mate 50 RS Porsche Design.
