Huawei Mate 50 series will be unveiled in China on September 6. The series is expected to have four models –Mate 50, Mate 50e, Mate 50 Pro, and Mate 50 RS Edition. The company has not revealed the specs of any of the devices yet.

However, as per various leaks and rumors, the Huawei Mate 50 will draw power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset but will only support 4G LTE. All the devices in the series are expected to feature an OLED display sourced from BOE, however, the refresh rate will vary on each device. The base models will feature a standard 90hz refresh rate and the higher-end models will flaunt a 120Hz refresh rate. On the software front, the upcoming lineup will come running the company’s home-brewed HarmonyOS 3.0.

Pricing and other details about the devices are yet to be known. In any case, the September 6 announcement date is just yesterday, so we’re destined to full details soon.
