Earlier this year at the Google I/O event, the search giant gave us our first look at the upcoming Pixel 7 series smartphones. Now, the company has finally revealed the launch date of its next-gen smartphones.

The Pixel 7 series will debut at the Made By Google event on October 6th at 10 am ET. Other than the smartphones, the brand will also be launching the Pixel Watch at this event, as revealed by the teaser video.

Google Pixel 7 series specs (expected)
The Pixel 7 series will resemble the Pixel 6 series in appearance. The Pixel 7 will be equipped with dual cameras, while the Pixel 7 Pro will be outfitted with triple cameras. The phones are believed to have a 50MP main camera (Samsung GN1) and a 13MP ultrawide camera (Sony IMX38). A 48MP telephoto camera will also be included with the 7 Pro (Samsung GM1). The front camera on both models is expected to have a 10.87MP (Samsung 3J1) sensor.
The Pixel 7 will feature a 6.4-inch 90Hz OLED panel, while the Pixel 7 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED display. The two phones will also have the latest Google Tensor processor, which will be revealed soon. In terms of software, we can expect both devices to come with Android 13.0.

The upcoming Pixel Watch on the other hand will run on Wear OS that will support Google Assistant, Google Maps, and other Google services and smart notifications. The device is also expected to be powered by a 300mAh battery pack, which may last for one full day.
