Redmi has launched a new gaming monitor in China. The product is officially called Redmi Gaming Monitor G24 165Hz. As the name suggests, the monitor’s 23.8-inch panel offers support for up to a 165Hz refresh rate.

It is the brand’s second gaming monitor. The first one with the same-sized screen was announced in late February. It sports a different design and supports up to a 240Hz refresh rate.

The new Redmi monitor flaunts a 23.8-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) and 8-bit color depth (16.7 million colors). The screen offers a 16:9 aspect ratio and up to a 165Hz refresh rate.

The display has a 3500:1 contrast ratio and can cover up to a 120% of the sRGB color gamut. It offers a color accuracy of ΔE<2 and support for HDR10 content.

It also comes with support for up to 1ms MPRT response time, DC dimming, low blue light mode, and Adaptive-Sync (Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync).

As far are ports are concerned, the monitor arrives with 1 x HDMI, 1 x DisplayPort, 1 x audio output, and 1 x DC power in. Last but not least, it also features a hub for cable management.

The Redmi Gaming Monitor G24 165Hz is priced at ¥599 ($86) in China. It is already up for sale in the region and comes with a 3-year warranty.

Just like most monitors from Xiaomi and Redmi, this one could also remain exclusive to the company’s home country.
