Now, as we move towards the end of 2022, rumors regarding the next-gen Redmi Note 12 series have started to speed up. A recent one sheds some light on the upcoming series’ specifications. Chinese tipster Digital Chat Stations claims that the Redmi Note 12 series will feature a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera sensor (Via MyDrivers). In addition, the handset will offer support for 120W fast charging. The device could come with a sweet 120W charger inside the box.

The rumored charging support is very impressive. Xiaomi packed the same tech in its flagship devices like Xiaomi 12 Pro. With the support of 120W fast charging, the Xiaomi 12 Pro can be charged to 100% in just 19 minutes.
Further, the tipster claims the upcoming series will feature a rectangular design with straight edges, identical to what we’ve seen on the Note 11 Series smartphones. Moreover, the screen could also remain flat with “sharp edges” and a hole-punch cutout to house the selfie camera.
The specs mentioned are said to be of the Redmi Note 12 Series. However, we don’t know which particular smartphone will feature these. Judging, Redmi could pack these specs into a “Pro” labeled device.
