PLAY has unveiled another affordable but innovative smartwatch in its expanding Indian lineup. The PLAYFIT CHAMP2 is a made-in-India product designed based on inputs from the local market. It has a 1.69-inch full-touch display with advanced toughened glass protection. The smartwatch is made of stainless steel and silicon, with a great aesthetic appeal. The PLAYFIT CHAMP2 combines comfort with performance and comes at a pretty affordable price.
The PLAYFIT CHAMP2 offers heart rate, blood oxygen, and calorie monitoring. It also has a female health tracker and reminders for drinking water. The smartwatch comes with several watch faces and a 230mAh battery. The battery can last for 5 days on normal usage and up to 30 days on standby mode. Several sports modes are available with the PLAYFIT CHAMP2 including running, football, skipping, walking, basketball, workouts, and more.
The CHAMP2 smartwatch is capable of withstanding water, sweat, and dust with its IP68 rating. The PLAYFIT app, when paired with the CHAMP2 allows users to sync data and analyze their health and fitness progress over time. The smartwatch also provides sleep tracking and is offered a one-year warranty.
The PLAYFIT CHAMP2 is priced at Rs. 1,799 (~$22) and is available from the company’s website and other retail platforms in India. PLAY says the new smartwatch is the culmination of out-of-the-box thinking and magnificent advancements. Four color options are available for the PLAYFIT CHAMP2 namely black, indigo blue, rose gold, and grey.
