Vivo is going to launch its second foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold+, in China on September 26. Ahead of its formal debut, the device has been spotted on the Wireless Power Consortium, which reiterates its design. The new foldable is confirmed to be equipped with a powerful processor and to feature some significant upgrades over its predecessor.

As initially spotted by MySmartPrice, the Vivo X Fold+ has appeared on the Wireless Power Consortium website with model number V2229A. The listing also includes an image, which gives us a good look at the smartphone’s design. The design is the same as what we have seen in Vivo’s teaser poster. However, in the listing, the foldable is pictured with a greyish paint job, which creates the possibility of an additional color option.

Vivo X Fold+ Specifications (Expected)

Many leaks and rumors suggest the Vivo X Fold+ will share many specifications and features with its predecessor. For instance, it is rumored to be equipped with the same 8.03-inch foldable display and a 6.53-inch cover screen as the Vivo X Fold. The device will offer a 120Hz refresh rate on both screens.

Under the hood, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The device managed to get a decent benchmark score on Antutu and it will probably handle all tasks smoothly. The chipset will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It will be powered by a 4,730mAh battery with 80W of wired charging and 50W of wireless charging.

Vivo X Fold+For optics, the smartphone will have a quad camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 12-megapixel portrait camera with 2x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel periscope lens with 5x optical zoom. While at the front, it should have a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
