Google is ready to unveil the new Pixel 7 Pro on October 4, alongside the vanilla Pixel 7 and a bunch of other ecosystem products. Ahead of the formal debut, a reliable tipster has leaked the detailed specifications of the search giant’s upcoming flagship. The leaks suggest the Pixel 7 Pro will not be as big of an upgrade—it may be powered by a new chipset, but that’s about it. Here are the details.

Pixel 7 Pro Specifications (Rumored)

Tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed the specifications of the upcoming Pixel 7 Pro. The rumored specifications suggest there might not be too many upgrades to the handset as compared to Pixel 6 Pro.

According to Brar, the Pro model will come with the same 6.7-inch curved QHD LTPO-capable OLED panel that will offer a refresh rate of 120Hz. The handset will be powered by the next-gen Tensor 2 Soc, which is reported to carry some serious GPU, NPU, and modem improvements.

PIxel 7 and PIxel 7 Pro

The device will be available in 12GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB storage configurations. Google may not offer the device in the 512GB storage variant this year.

In terms of optics, the Pixel 7 Pro will come with a triple rear camera setup, which will consist of the same 50-megapixel main sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and 48MP telephoto sensor as its predecessor. However, the telephoto camera is rumored to use a new Samsung GM1 sensor. While at the front, the device will feature an 11-megapixel snapper that may also have autofocus this year.

Lastly, the Pixel phone will come with a similar 5,000mAh battery. It will support only 30W charging, which might not impress some users. In addition, the device will also support for wireless charging.
