Samsung has surprisingly released the Android 13 OS based One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy A52 smartphone. The company had began the beta program for its flagship Galaxy S22 series of smartphones recently, and now the mid range model has also started receiving this update.
As of right now, the South Korean tech giant has only released the beta program for this smartphone. This also implies that we might soon see the major Android upgrade to make its way to more mid range Galaxy handsets as well. Interestingly enough, the Galaxy A52 received the update ahead of its successor Galaxy A53 and it is unclear if the brand will launch the beta for this model or just directly release a stable build for it.
This same will likely apply for the Galaxy A52’s different variants including the Galaxy A52s and the Galaxy A52 5G. So for those interested, you can apply for the beta program if you’re a Galaxy A52 owner in India. To apply for the beta program, you just have to apply for the beta program by going to the Samsung Members app and tapping on the beta program banner and opting on the enroll button.
Following this step, you can expect the first beta update to be made available for download within the next five to ten minutes. One can check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update.
