It was reported in August by GSMArena that Vivo is working on the Vivo X80 Pro+ flagship phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. Now the publication is back with a new report, which claims that Vivo has cancelled the Vivo X80 Pro+.
According to the publication, it was learned that the X80 Pro+ had been cancelled through a Vivo representative after the Vivo X Fold+ launch event in China. It looks like the company is getting ready to release the X-series flagship phones of the next generation soon.
Reports have claimedv= that the Vivo X90 Pro+ may debut by the end of this year. It is speculated that the device may go official in December. A recent leak by tipster Ice Universe revealed key details about the X90 Pro+.
Vivo X90 Pro+ specifications (rumored)
The Vivo X90 Pro+ is likely to feature an AMOLED E6 display. Unfortunately, there is no word on the display size and resolution. There is a possibility that it may carry support for Quad HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the X90 Pro+ will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform.
The SoC will be accompanied by the latest technologies, such as LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The rear camera setup of the device will have a 1-inch main camera and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.
The Vivo X90 Pro+ is likely to be accompanied by the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro. At present, there is no information available on the specs of the X90. However, the X90 Pro is expected to offer key features like SD8G2 chip, 100W charging, and a 1-inch camera sensor.
