Xiaomi is expected to announce the Xiaomi 13 series in November or December this year. Before it arrives, the company’s sub-brand Redmi will unveil at least three Redmi phones, claims tipster Digital Chat Station (via. TechGoing). It looks like the rumored Redmi Note 12 Pro has been approved by the 3C certification platform in China. This means that the phone is about to be released.

A Redmi handset with model number 22101316C has bagged 3C certification. The device is said to have the ‘M16’ codename. Its 3C certification reveals that it may carry support for 67W fast charging.

According to the tipster, apart from the M16, there are two other Redmi phones with “M17” and “M16UP” codenames that are expected to debut before the Xiaomi 13 series. The M17 has the 22101317C model number, while the M16UP has the 22101316UCP. The M17, M16, and M16UP belong to the same series. The tipster added that the M16UP is the most powerful device in the lineup.

Redmi announced the Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro+ in October 2021. Hence, it appears that the brand could be gearing up to launch the Redmi Note 12 series in October this year. There is a possibility that the M17, M16, and M16UP could be the upcoming Redmi Note 12, the Redmi Note 12 Pro, and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ models. These devices may arrive in time for the Single’s Day (November 11) sale in China.

According to a recent report, the Note 12 lineup will include a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro/depth) triple camera unit. The Pro+ edition may carry support for 120W fast charging. It is likely that the Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ may come equipped with the Dimensity 1300 chipset.
