Redmi Pad has launched in global markets. It is the first-ever tablet from the Xiaomi sub-brand. The company has announced other products including the Xiaomi 12T series, Redmi Buds 4 Pro and more at the event. Earlier today, the Redmi Pad debuted in the Indian market. Read on to know what the device offers out of the box.

The Redmi Pad sports a 10.61-inch LCD screen bearing a 2K pixel resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen also offers 10-bit colours and up to 400 nits of brightness. The display is Widevine L1-certified that allows users to watch HD content on streaming platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+ Hotstar.

The Redmi Pad features an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front snapper. There is a feature called FocusFrame, which can automatically adjust the frame to accommodate more people. The Redmi Pad also features Dolby Atmos-certified quad speakers and dual microphones for noise reduction.

Under the hood, the Redmi Pad is powered by an Helio G99 processor based on a 6nm process. It is coupled with up to 4GB RAM and up to 128GB of storage with support for a microSD card slot. The tablet is powered by an 8,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The retail box of the device has a bundled 22.5W fast charger. The device runs on Android 12 OS with the MIUI 13 skin on top. 

On the connectivity front, Redmi Pad offers features like dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB-C port.

The Redmi Pad is offered in Mint Grey, Graphite Grey, and Moonlight Silver colours. It starts at EUR 279 (~RMB 1,969) for the base 3GB + 64GB variant.
