Xiaomi 12T series has launched in the global markets today. The lineup comprises a regular and Pro model. The smartphones arrive as the successor to the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro. At the event, the Chinese brand also announced the Redmi Pad, Redmi Buds 4 Pro, and more devices. The Xiaomi 12T Pro seems to be a slightly tweaked version of the Redmi K50 Ultra in China. Xiaomi 12T

The Xiaomi 12T series shares the same design as the Xiaomi 12 Pro. Both devices come with a centre-aligned punch-hole display and a rectangular camera module on the back panel. Both the regular and Pro models feature a 6.67-inch OLED screen bearing a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. They are equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner. 

In the photography department, the Xiaomi 12T series features triple rear cameras. The setup on the former comprises a 108MP main sensor with OIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. On the other hand, the Pro variant is the first-ever Xiaomi device to sport a 200MP primary sensor while retaining the other two lenses from the regular model. On the front, both phones feature a 20-megapixel selfie snapper.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 12T is powered by the Dimensity 8100 chipset paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Xiaomi 12T Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The 12T duo packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. Both models come preloaded with the Android 12 OS, which is overlaid with MIUI 13. These devices are equipped with other common features like dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, IR blaster, and a USB Type-C port.

The Xiaomi 12T starts at EUR 599 whereas the Pro variant starts at EUR 749. Both smartphones come in Cosmic Black, Lunar Silver, and Clear Blue colours. The Xiaomi 12T duo will be available from October 13th from the brand’s official channels.
