iQOO is reportedly gearing up to launch the new iQOO Neo 7 in China in October. The handset will likely debut in the country on 20th-21st October. But ahead of an official announcement, the Neo 7 has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking site with a Dimensity 9000+ SoC and up to 12GB of RAM. Here are the details.

An iQOO smartphone with model number V2231A has been listed on the Geekbench database (via Nashville chatter). Previous reports suggest this model is the upcoming iQOO Neo 7. It is listed to feature an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC, as evidenced by the motherboard, k6983v1_64, and the higher clock speed of 3.20GHz on the primary Cortex-X2 core.

The handset also packs 12GB of RAM and runs on Android 12. As per the Geekbench listing, the iQOO Neo 7 has received a single-core performance score of 1,231 points and a multi-core performance score of 4,251 points. The listing does not reveal many other details about the smartphone.

Reports suggest the Pro variant of the handset will come with a 2K E6 AMOLED flat display offering a 144Hz refresh rate. It may pack up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Further, the device is expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery and support 120W fast charging.

While the base variant is said to have a 6.78-inch 1080p AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will likely have only 67W fast charging. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Neo 7 could come with a triple camera unit on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V image sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12-megapixel portrait telephoto lens.
