Earlier this month, Reliance Jio launched its first laptop in the Indian market called the JioBook. Initially, the device was only available for Indian government employees, however, the laptop is now available for purchase in the open market. Jio Book price in India, bank offers

The cost of the Jio Book laptop on Reliance Digital is Rs 15,799. This is considerably less than the Rs 19,500 price listed on the government website. There are also some offers from the Bank. With major bank credit cards including Axis, Kotak, ICICI, HDFC, AU, INDUSIND, DBS, Yes, and others, customers purchasing laptops can get a 10% instant discount.

The JioBook sports a plastic casing with Jio branding on the back panel and the Windows key on the keyboard. The built-in 4G LTE capability in the laptop is the key selling point for many.

The device has an 11.6-inch TN display with a 1366×768 HD resolution. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, which includes the Adreno 610 GPU, powers the laptop. It includes 2GB of LPDDR4X RAM (not extendable) and 32GB of memory on board. JioOS, which powers the laptop, is said to be extremely lightweight and optimized for optimum performance. Customers can download and install third-party applications from the Jio Store that is built into their devices. The laptop’s 55.1 to 60 AH battery is said to provide 8+ hours of battery life on a single charge. There is also passive cooling support for heat emission.

The device has a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, 1 HDMI micro, Wi-Fi, and 4G LTE (Jio network) for connectivity. It has a 2MP web camera for video calls and 1.0W stereo speakers as well. Customers need to visit their nearest Jio Store with their ICCID (SIM number) to activate their SIM card, complete their KYC, and select their preferred data package.
