After launching the VX2405-P-MHD gaming monitor in India earlier this month, ViewSonic has now launched a new gaming monitor in the global market called the ViewSonic Elite XG341C-2K.
It is a 34-inch VA monitor with a 1500R curvature and an ultra-wide resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels. The monitor has a 21:9 aspect ratio and can go up to 200 Hz refresh rate with 1 ms response times (MPRT).
The highlight feature of this monitor is the Mini LED backlights, of which there are 1,152 local dimming zones. This qualifies the monitor for VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification, which is proof of 1,400 nits of peak luminance when viewing HDR content, or a still impressive 720 nits in SDR content.
Other than that, the monitor ships with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to avoid image tearing at high frame rates and offers 97% of the DCI-P3 color space, and 99% NTSC color space coverage.
ViewSonic has provided two HDMI 2.1 ports on the Elite XG341C-2K along with a display port and a USB Type-C port. Other than that, there is also a USB Type-A hub that supports the USB 3.2 standard. It has 5W built-in stereo speakers and a height-adjustable stand comes included in the packaging.
Currently, the ViewSonic Elite XG341C-2K has been made available for Eurozone customers with a €2,309 price tag including VAT. You can find out more about the monitor by visiting the company’s website.
