Redmi will unveil the Redmi Note 12 series on Oct. 27 in China. Ahead of the launch, the Note 12 lineup is available for reservations through Chinese retailer sites like JD.com. The reservation listings revealed that the lineup might include as many as four devices. However, a fresh leak by Chinese tipster Panda is Bald reveals that the company will announce only three devices on Oct. 27, and will not include the vanilla Redmi Note 12 for now. At the same time, the company has also confirmed that the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will come equipped with a 200-megapixel camera.
Redmi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will be the world’s first phone to feature the Samsung ISOCELL HPX 200-megapixel camera. It will be a 1/1.4-inch camera sensor with a pixel size of 2.24μm. The camera will have support for optical image stabilization (OIS). There is no word on the auxiliary cameras of the device.

The company is yet to confirm the other features of the Note 12 Pro+. However, it appears that the device may have support for 120W or 210W charging. There is a possibility that this device could be equipped with a curved-edge AMOLED panel. The Note 12 Pro+ will come with a 200-megapixel camera, whereas the Note 12 Pro will have a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS.
In related news, the aforementioned Chinese tipster has claimed that the Redmi Note 12 series will comprise of three devices: the Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+, and Redmi Note 12 Exploration Version. These three devices will be powered by the Dimensity 1080 chipset. He added that there is no standard Redmi Note 12 this time around. The details of the Exploration Version are not known yet.
