According to Digital Chat Station, the unknown Oppo smartphone is codenamed ‘Hepburn’. Although he doesn’t mention it directly, this device could likely launch as Oppo A98 since the specifications shared by him are the same.

He says this handset will sport a 6.7-inch curved display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels (FHD+) and a 120Hz refresh rate. The centered punch-hole screen will have a 2.33mm chin narrow chin and will support up to a 2160Hz PWM dimming.

Unfortunately, despite flaunting a premium display with an in-screen fingerprint sensor, the phone will be powered by a slower Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. But it will not only support 67W fast charging but also arrive with a 108MP main camera.

The smartphone won’t lack essentials either. It will come with dual stereo speakers and NFC for contactless payments/transit passes.

Based on the specs, the so-called Oppo A98 (Hepburn) does sound like an interesting phone and it is somewhat similar to the Honor X40. Do let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
