The GMC HUMMER EV AWD e-bike has been unveiled. The bike was developed jointly by GMC and Recon Power Bikes and it is capable of delivering a peak power output of 2,400W. The HUMMER EV AWD has dual 750W electric motors that deliver a torque of 160Nm and it can reach a top speed of 45km/h. The GMC HUMMER EV AWD e-bike has a 17.5 Ah standard battery giving the bike a range of about 80km.

The new GMC e-bike is being propped as the world’s first super-electric bike. Its dual 48V 750W Bafang motors help the bike achieve a top speed of 28 mph. There are three riding modes in addition to the throttle-only option in the e-bike. The rear-wheel drive minimizes power consumption while the traction mode with the front-wheel drive coming handy in less difficult terrain. The pick of the options is the Adrenaline mode which unlocks the AWD feature.

Apart from the standard 17.5 Ah battery, the e-bike also has a 21 Ah variant, providing a higher range. The standard battery model can be upgraded to the bigger battery but the added range is not known yet. Two 4-inch puncture-resistant tires provide the needed balance and control for the e-bike. It has a four-piston hydraulic brake system and an adjustable front suspension fork. A color LCD screen provides ride information and battery status for the user.

GMC HUMMER EV AWD e-bike

The GMC HUMMER EV AWD e-bike is available on reservation with a deposit of $500. The standard model is priced at $3,999, while the 21 Ah battery version costs $4,175. Recon Power Bikes is offering a free pannier bag for full purchases made on the model. Free shipping is offered for the bike across the United States, but availability details for other markets are not known at this time. Deliveries are expected to begin by December.
