After a couple of leaks in the last few days, the Oppo A58 5G is finally official in China. The budget 5G smartphone is identical to similar offerings from other brands in terms of specs.

The Oppo A58 5G features a flat frame design. Its rear panel has a matte finish and two giant circles housing cameras and an LED flash.

The phone is thin at around 7.9mm and weighs about 188g. It comes in three colors, namely Tranquil Sea Blue, Star Black, and Breeze Purple.

The handset sports a 6.56-inch display (LCD) with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels (HD+), 269 PPI, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen has a dewdrop notch and supports up to 600 nits of maximum brightness level.

The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It boots ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12.

It comes with a dual-camera system comprising a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

The phone arrives with multiple connectivity options, like dual SIM, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, and USB Type-C. It also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a MicroSD card slot, dual stereo speakers, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Last but not least, the device draws energy from a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast wired charging.

Oppo A58 5G Price and Availability

The Oppo A58 5G arrives in a single 8GB + 256GB memory configuration in China. It is priced at ¥1,699 ($234).

The handset is available for pre-order starting today (November 8). It will go on sale from November 10.
