Vivo is all set to launch its flagship smartphones under the new Vivo X90 series. The company has scheduled a launch event on 22nd November, i.e. tomorrow, in its home country China to announce the new phones.

Ahead of the official launch tomorrow, the top-end model in the lineup — Vivo X90 Pro+, has been leaked through the Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing some key details about the phone.

The Geekbench listing reveals that the Vivo X90 Pro+ smartphone with model number Vivo V2227a is powered by 12GB of RAM and has managed to score 1,480 points in the single-core test while it scored 5,106 points in the multi-core test.

For those who are unaware, the smartphone will be powered by the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is manufactured using the 4nm process. The chipset will be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone will be featuring a 6.7-inch 1260p AMOLED panel that will offer a 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate.

Vivo X90 Series Smartphones

In the camera department, there will be a quad-camera setup consisting of a 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX989V primary sensor accompanied by a 64MP OmniVision OV64A telephoto lens. There’s also a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP Sony IMX578 portrait lens. On the front side, there’s a 32 MP shooter on the front.

We expect the smartphone to come running the Android 13 operating system with the company’s own custom user interface on top. The device will most likely come packed with a 4,700mAh battery and offer 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
