Vivo is reportedly gearing up to introduce a new budget-friendly smartphone called Vivo Y02. A recent leak has already revealed the handset’s specifications and pricing. Now, a new report is here, which reiterates the specs of the smartphone and also shares its promotional image. Vivo Y02 is reportedly headed toward India and other global markets. Here are all the details.
Pricebaba, in collaboration with tipster Paras Guglani, has revealed the key specs as well as the design of the upcoming Vivo Y02. The publication has shared a promo image, which shows the device with a waterdrop notch display and a thick bottom bezel. It has a rectangular camera module that has another round module inside. The handset can be seen to feature a single camera and an LED flash.
Moving to the specifications, the report claims the Vivo Y02 will arrive with a 6.51-inch LCD panel that produces an HD+ resolution. The front features a 5-megapixel selfie camera. There’s an 8-megapixel rear camera for photography.
VivoY02 will be powered by the Helio P22 chipset and will come in a single storage configuration— 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. It will be fueled by a 5,000mAh battery, which is expected to support only 10W charging. On the software front, the handset will run on Android 12 (Go edition).
Guglani previously claimed that Vivo Y02 will be priced at Rs 8,499. Its predecessor also launched at the same price. The launch date of the device is yet to be known.
