Segway-Ninebot and Hasbro have rolled out the Segway x Transformers Optimus Prime and BumbleBee GoKart Pro. The two models are available in China, Canada, and the United States. The models are the culmination of the collaboration between Segway-Ninebot and Hasbro, a global entertainment brand. The models come in a limited version, with only a few units produced.
Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are Transformers characters together with Megatron, which are all Segway gokarts and e-scooters. The Optimus Prime GoKart Pro and Bumblebee GoKart Pro are the gokarts, while the Megatron GT2 Superscooter and Bumblebee C8 kids kickscooter complete the lineup. They join a growing collection of Segway micro-mobility products. The Gokart Pro has been a huge success since 2018. It embodies the Optimus Prime and Bumblebee characters in the Transformers bots. The Gokart Pro can be converted to fit drivers of varying heights. The kart can be extended to easily accommodate an adult or a teenager. The steering column folds out of the way to make the movement to be without stress. There are four riding modes and a top speed of 40km/h.
The Megatron GT2 Superscooter was designed as the top-performing Segway scooter. It comes with power and speed, achieving its top speed of 43.5mph in 3.9 seconds. It has a sleek and curved frame with a centered double wishbone matte metallic structure. It features dual adjustable suspension technology and 11-inch tires. The individual Gokart Pro and GT2 models are outfitted with serialized plate numbers designed with Cybertronian language.
The limited-edition models are available from e-commerce platforms in China while fans in Canada and the US can get the products directly from the Segway online store.
